Angela Mondou

Angela Mondou, President of ICE Leadership, is a former air force captain and marketing executive whose unconventional career has taken her from worldwide military operations to top-ranked high-tech companies, including Research In Motion, the creators of BlackBerry™.
Angela specializes in high-risk mission critical programs. While working for NATO in West Germany in 1992, Angela successfully led the global logistics strategy & deployment of the largest United Nations Peacekeeping contingent [UNPROFOR] in Canadian Forces history into former Yugoslavia – while under fire! After nine years in the air force, Angela moved on to the high-tech industry where she worked in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Focused globally in business integration, operations, and strategic marketing, she was responsible for many ‘rapid results’ programs launching new markets and products including: the first ‘BlackBerry™ phone’ into Europe, the 7230 BlackBerry™ on Oprah Winfrey’s ‘Favorite Things’ show and developing innovative mainstream marketing programs with all 32 teams of the National Football League (NFL) and ESPN.
In 2006, Angela launched ICE leadership – an award winning professional services company that specializes in ‘Helping clients achieve innovation through execution’. The ICE Leadership team delivers the necessary know-how and tools to execute rapid results programs in: ‘productization’ and commercialization, product launch strategies, strategic marketing campaigns and ‘execution’ programs. Angela’s extensive background in mission-oriented and revenue driven environments has led to the development of intellectual property and proprietary tools, processes and programs that deliver focus, discipline and successful execution strategies for companies with mission-critical objectives.
Angela was recently nominated Board Officer and VP, Leadership with the prestigious International Women’s Forum. She is a Director with the Canadian Forces Liaison Council, and a recipient of the United Nations Peacekeeping medal. In 2005, Angela was honored to represent Canada’s peacekeepers in the Year of the Veteran campaign, and is featured on a special circulation 25-cent quarter released by the Royal Canadian Mint. Angela is also a sought after national speaker and TV Analyst speaking on leadership, strategic marketing and defence initiatives. Angela is the best-selling author of ‘Hit the Ground Leading!’.
